End of the International 2009 Season

Anna Scarlett's picture

The Last month has been a very successful one for us. Our 13th in Sanya and 17th in Phuket, although due to a crazy draw we had a pretty hard cross over vs Greece (7th in the World). But that is the way the cookie crumbles! With these results our World ranking will sit at 33rd going into next year! Not too shabby coming from 62nd at the start of the year. On top of that, we have been accepted by SPARC for a grant! This has been a huge relief for us! It means that along with LG's support we can actually continue next year and we now only need to find money for a coach!!!!

So it is a little time away from the ball for us, but other training continues. We will begin sand trainings again in December, so that we are not hitting the NZ tour with NO ball touches!

Might go enjoy reading my book now until Gym. It's nice to have a little down time for a change!

I big Thanks to our supporters through the year!

Very much appreciated!

Arrgh I forgot to mention in

Arrgh I forgot to mention in my last comment that I asked about Scarlett comments concerning a possible return to Netball because I deal with them in my blog . Scarlett and anybody else has a right of reply to my comments since they may not be taken as favorable . I can't post a link here to my blog thanks to the stupid comments moderation system . However my blog underthepaw wordpress blog isn't hard to find .

Time For Another Entry

I want to here your thoughts on the national tour . Also I am particularly keen here your thoughts on the National tour adopting a round robin format , something you mentioned on Sunrise . Were you also misquoted when you said that a change in coach would be required before you returned to International Netball ?

Good News

I am glad that you and Blundell have secured funding . Have a good Xmas and off season break .
